On Wednesday, December 23, a Federal High Court presided by Justice Ahmed Mohammed remitted the case file of the federal republic of Nigeria versus Nnamdi Kanu to the chief judge of the court.

Mohammed’s action came after the accused person, Kanu, prior to hearing his plea objected the court’s attempt to preside over allegations against him by the state.

Group begs Federal Government to curb female suicide bombings

A group, Girl-Child Rights Awareness Initiative in Africa has urged the federal government to take action against the rising spate of female suicide bombers in the country.

News Agency of Nigeria reports that this call was made by Mrs Tope Awe, the executive director of the group in Osogbo on Tuesday, December 29.

OPC organises First Christmas Carol... Change

Many will find this difficult to believe but I can confirm it that the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) just had a Christmas carol.



This will be the first of its kind since the formation of the Yoruba ethnic group agitation organisation. The maiden edition of OPC Christmas carol and nine lessons of Christmas was held at the All Season plaza, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos on Wednesday, December 23.

Kaduna refinery now distributes fuel daily

Kaduna refinery starts production

The Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company (KRPC) has begun daily production of petrol as speculated few days ago.

Ohi Alegbe, group general manager, group public affairs division, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on Wednesday said the plant began production with an initial PMS yield of about 1.5 million litres and  increased its daily yield to 3.2 million litres.
