Chealsea fans check out your proposed £600m, 60000 seater stadium

Chelsea Football Club have submitted plans of their new 60,000 capacity stadium to the Fulham and Hammersmith council. The stadium will still retain the name Stamford Bridge and will cost an estimated £600m. Included in the application are plans to build a club shop, museum and a separate restaurant/cafe zone.
If Chelsea are given the go ahead by the council to build the stadium, construction could begin as early as May 2016, with the club vacating the premises at the end of the 2016-17 season to play home matches in London’s Wembley stadium.

Interesting! Obafemi becomes Seattle Sounders best player again

Super Eagles striker, Obafemi Martins, has been voted Seattle Sounders best player for the second consecutive season. The former Inter Milan striker also won the club’s Golden Boot award after netting 15 times to emerge the Major League Soccer side’s top scorer for the season.
